About Me

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm constantly creating. Nothing energizes me more than building something. The medium almost doesn’t matter—food, graphic design, event planning, whatever.

I believe that imagination and creativity are inspired by a wealth of diverse experiences. I have had many.

This avid reader of mysteries and spy novels was also an actress. As a child, I did television commercials. In high school, college, and law school I performed in plays and musicals, even directing a few.  I graduated from Duke University and U. Penn Law School, where I served as Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper and the yearbook. Always excited by the challenge of figuring out seemingly unsolvable puzzles, I pursued a career as a litigation attorney and wove persuasive stories from a myriad of facts in a broad range of cases including white-collar crime and involving people who were living double lives.

When my husband and I relocated to Bermuda with our six-month-old baby, I stopped practicing law but continued creating in any medium I could find—including food art, school curriculums, graphic design, and writing articles. After I moved back to the States and my two children moved out on their own, I wrote to create worlds to share with others.

I enjoy writing and have done so in a variety of genres. My middle-grade mystery novel The Neighbors' Secret that's now available, was recognized as an American Fiction Awards Finalist in 2024 and a Tassy Walden Finalist in 2023. My first play Fickle Fate was selected out of over 300 submissions as a semi-finalist in the SheNYC and SheLA Summer Theater Festival in 2022. In 2024, the musical Virtually Ours, which I co-wrote with three talented friends—Lisa Yves, Lisa Ann Grant, and Eva Grant Rawiszer—was recently showcased as part of the NYC Sparks Theater Festival for Emerging Artists. I am also working on manuscripts for picture books.

Beyond the written page, I enjoy traveling; playing tennis, golf, and piano; giving bridge instruction; and performing community service. My favorite pastime, however, is to spend cherished moments with my beloved family—my rock and inspiration. For the past 18 years, I have lived with my husband in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
