Welcome!
Welcome to my space! I have written a middle-grade mystery novel (the first of a series), a play, and, along with three talented friends, a musical. I am also working on picture books.
Two fun facts about me that inspired me to write: First, I have an uncanny ability to recall conversations in vivid detail—including inflections, accents, and emotions—even decades after they occurred. Some find this skill annoying. Second, I’m an extrovert. I love meeting and learning about people. Over the years, I have met a wide range of individuals. When I write, I draw from this reservoir of memories and essentially relive what it was like to be a child, a teen, or a young adult.
Before becoming an author, I was a litigation attorney, newsletter editor, event planner, leader of various charitable organizations, cake decorator extraordinaire, actor, and intrepid traveler. When not writing, I enjoy traveling; playing tennis, golf, piano, and games; teaching bridge; spending time with friends; and exploring culinary delights.
My favorite pastime, however, is spending time with my wonderful family—my rock and inspiration.
